The World Science Day for Peace and Development (WSDPD) is annually held on November 10 to raise awareness of the benefits of science worldwide. The WSDPD is also known as World Science Day. The day offers an opportunity to mobilise various partners (scientific and research institutions, the media, science teachers, NGO’s) to highlight the important role of science in society and to engage the wider public in debates on emerging scientific issues and the relevance of science in their daily lives. | |
